sift. is an AI news briefing application. We aggregate public tweets from X (Twitter) accounts and use large language models to synthesize them into daily Chinese briefings.
sift. does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). No registration, no login, no contacts, no location, no camera or microphone access. No third-party ads or analytics.
The app makes anonymous API calls to api.sift.day to fetch briefing content.
Server logs (IP, timestamp, request path) are kept for max 30 days for security purposes.
sift. is not targeted at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
